ABOUT
Osamu Matsuo is a Japanese photographer born in 1970 and based in Tokyo. Much of his commercial work involves still life photos of sneakers and fashion items. As private work, he has published photography books and essays exploring the question of "what it means for people to take photographs," and he also heads a publishing project centered around his hometown of Sasebo City, which serves as the theme.
